From our very first conversations, we were completely aligned on how to transform a compact courtyard into something truly special. 

 

The brief was to create an oasis of architectural, layered planting, using a lush, almost tropical-inspired palette — carefully selected to thrive in the prevailing weather conditions of South Manchester. The planting adds depth, texture, and a real sense of immersion, making the space feel far more generous than its footprint suggests. 

 

As passionate foodies, the clients wanted a garden that could be enjoyed year-round. A weather-resilient layout allows them to cook outdoors on their Green Egg–style BBQ whatever the season, while flexible seating areas make it easy to relax and entertain family and friends. 

 

This really is a gem of a garden. By maximising the budget and designing every element with purpose, we created an inspiring, joyful space that not only looks beautiful but genuinely adds value to our clients’ everyday lives.
