Georgian Period Styling, Worsley ~ 2012-2016
I was very privileged to be asked to design the gardens around this period property in Worsley which I worked on, with the owner, over the course of a few years.
Featured here is the front garden design with its beautiful formal gardens and the side garden which took its inspiration from Calderstone's Japanese Garden in Liverpool. We chose particular elements, like the 30 year old Acer (which was new to the site and winched into position!) and built pathways and planting areas around this and the feature drystone wall seating area.
A real labour of love, I also designed a gravel garden and more modern, private courtyard garden to the rear of the property.
